Fountain City Classic events under way

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Dozens have turned out for the annual Cufflinks and Pearls networking mixer.

Fans say it’s considered one of the biggest and oldest games where the Albany State Golden Rams and the Fort Valley State Wildcats battle it out for the big win. For those who don’t know it’s the 27th annual Fountain City Classic and it’s expected to attract a sellout crowd of 15,000.

They will pack out the A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium this Saturday at 2 p.m. Another 30,000 people will gather outside of the stadium for the FCC tailgating activities.
