A Georgia Sheriff’s Deputy is in critical condition after being struck during a chase that started in Alabama.
Laura Leeann Wooten, 35, of Georgia was arrested after the chase when authorities say she crashed into a courthouse pole.
Officials say Wooten struck Dade County Sheriff’s Major Tommy Bradford as he was laying down spike strips.
Bradford lost part of his leg and is in critical condition.
