Never before seen works of sculptor Eddie Dominguez are on display at the Columbus Museum as part of the his Garden of Eden exhibit.
The exhibit opened at the beginning of September and will be on display until January 20, 2019.
Two reasons led to the decision to open the exhibit this fall. September 15 is the start of Spanish Heritage month, and many of Dominguez’s pieces represent Hispano-Catholic culture. The other reason was to have students back in town, especially those enrolled in Columbus State University’s ceremics program.
Museum visitors have the chance to meet the sculptor this month. On September 27, Dominguez will be at the Columbus Museum to discuss his work from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
