COLUMBUS, Ga. — School in Muscogee County starts on August 8th.
Friday morning, News 3 gives you a list of things you need to know when it comes to getting your kids ready for school. According to Valerie Fuller, the Director of Communications with the Muscogee County School District, in most cases you may complete the registration and or change of address process at your child’s school of assignment.
Fuller says registration is only necessary at the Public Education Center if you have certain circumstances including: if you live with someone and not at your own residence and if your child is entering from a home school environment.
If you’re new to the Muscogee County School District or if you have a current student that has moved you will need to provide two documents to register your child and or change an address.
Those documents include a current utility bill and a rental agreement.
