Human remains in LaGrange are positively identified near Fulton Street

Local News

William Redden is overcome with mixed emotions after learning that his brother’s remains were positively identified near a dead end on Fulton Street in LaGrange.

They didn’t know if he was dead or alive at least now we got closure, says William Redden, Brother.

William says his brother, 51 year old Johnny Redden, went missing sometime back in 2016. Two years later his remains were discovered along a dirt path.

Way back in the woods they were riding 4 wheelers back there, and they stumbled across the remains, it was just bones, says Redden.

I think one or two days later they found some more bones and I guess they couldn’t identify him here, so they sent his body to Texas, says Redden.

Folks usually say time heals all wounds, but Redden says for his family that’s not the case.

They said he died in his sleep they said he went to sleep and never woke up, but I don’t know if drugs caused it or what, says Redden.

The search may be over for, but what led up to Johnny’s death is still a mystery,

Nobody can answer it but him, he’s the only one that can answer them, says Redden.

According to the brother authorities say there was no foul play suspected.  If you wish to make a donation, a GoFundMe account has been set up to give Johnny Redden a proper burial.
