COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Muscogee County Republican Party is gearing up for this November’s election. They are hosting a grand opening for their campaign headquarters Thursday night at six.
Their headquarters are located on 13th Street. There will be campaign materials like signs for the Trump-Pence campaign as well as for local and state candidates.
Chairman Rick Allen says the headquarters will serve as a central location where people can pick up supplies.
“It’s kind of a meeting place. We’ll have meetings here. We’ll have watch parties here and we’ll have campaign officials come by here so, it’s just a central campaign meeting area,” Allen said.
The Muscogee County Democratic Party opened up their headquarters on Macon Road last week. They are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. the entire election season. They are tentatively closed on Sundays.
