COLUMBUS, Ga. – New details on an incident that led to a local student having to have his leg amputated.
News 3 has obtained surveillance video from Muscogee.AllOnGeorgia.com which allegedly shows behavioral specialist Bryant Mosley carrying 13-year-old Montravious Thomas out of the AIM/Edgewood Student Services Center on September 12.
Thomas’ mother claims her son was body slammed by Mosley who was contracted by the Muscogee County School District.
The school district says, “Restraint appeared to be necessary in this situation for the safety of the child and others in the classroom.”
Thomas was later airlifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston where the amputation took place.
