On April 3, Columbus State University will join with local and state businesses to celebrate environmental sustainability at Woodruff Park from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
An annual event for eight years now, One CSU Day brings businesses, CSU and local high schools together to showcase efforts to help the Earth and promote better environment practices.
This year’s celebration is the first time the event will be held at Woodruff Park and will feature “over 25 exhibitors from the community and from CSU and Chattahoochee Valley Community College. It is free and open to the public,” according to David Mitchell, CSU’s Director of Enterprise Development.
Georgia Power, Columbus Water Works, Aflac, and Columbus Recycling will all be present to join the two colleges and close to 200 local high schoolers in celebrating “all things sustainable – from the environment to oneself.”
