UPDATE 11:15 a.m. Nov. 14, 2023: Columbus Police tells News 3 the victim from Monday’s shooting is in critical, but stable condition. They have identified the shooter; however, are not releasing an identity at this time. Stay with WRBL as we continue to learn more details.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — One person was injured in a shooting near 3rd Avenue and 28th Street late Monday afternoon, according to the Columbus Police Department.

Officers responded to the call at 3:58 p.m. There is no word on the victim’s condition at this time.
