OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL)  Price Small Engine in Opelika is hosting a tornado relief raffle. The prize is a sculpture by famous wood carver worth several hundred dollars.  The company says proceeds will go towards Providence Baptist Church as they continue their relief efforts in Beauregard.

Price Small Engine is hosting their annual Open House this Thursday and Friday, where Jason Emmons of Bear Hollow Wood Carvers will be carving a special tribute piece dedicated to the victims of the recent tornado in Beauregard. The public is invited to come watch him work.

“100% of the proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will be donated to Providence Baptist Church to help the  Beauregard community, along with the tribute carving, which will be placed in a public area where everyone can enjoy it,” said Ben Herndon with Price Small Engine.

Herndon says each $10 raffle ticket will allow people to win a genuinely one-of-kind chainsaw carving created by Jason Emmons of Bear Hollow Wood Carvers.

“Jason is an extremely talented and very well known performance chainsaw carver from French Lick, IN, is sponsored worldwide by Echo Chainsaws, and is literally the best of the best. The winner of the raffle will receive a one-of-a-kind carving of their choice, worth several hundred dollars, and will be announced later this week,” shared Herndon.

Raffle tickets can be purchased at Price Small Engine which is located at 20 Samford Avenue in Opelika. You can call or stop by with any questions @ 334.742.8011
