A Phenix City man is facing attempted murder charges after a drive-by shooting.

Members of US Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force arrested 18-year-old Tyquerrious Ford for attempted murder on Wednesday at a residence on Farr Road in Columbus, GA.

Police say they responded to a call about a shooting on 10th Place. When they arrived police saw that a 17-year-old male had been shot in the face. The male told police that someone shot at him from a vehicle. The teen was taken to Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital where he was treated and released.

The teen was able to identify Ford as the shooter. At which time, Phenix City Police issued an arrest warrant for Ford.

Ford is currently in the Muscogee County jail, pending extradition to Phenix City, Alabama.
