Gubernatorial candidates brought in heavy hitters this weekend to support their campaign. To end the weekend, candidate Brian Kemp had the commander in chief, President Trump host a rally in his favor. This comes after candidate Stacey Abrams invited former President Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey to campaign with her.
President Trump arrived in MACON, Ga around 4 p.m. and all you could see were seas of red hats that said “make America great again.” Specifically, Trump spoke about why he believes Brian Kemp will make Georgia great.
Brian Kemp is running against Democrat candidate Stacey Abrams for the governor seat. President Trump touched on issues regarding protecting the 2nd amendment, safer schools and how to help farmers after Hurricane Michael destroyed most of their crops a few weeks ago.
Voting day is November 6th.
