SCOTT’S RIDE: The brotherhood formed on the road

Local News

The Miracle Riders are definitely saving lives one mile at a time. However, the Brotherhood is also a very important part of their journey.

“I enjoy the comradery with the group of men that we are with,” said Sheriff Mike Jolly.

So far, these men have raised over 1 million dollars for 3 local charities: Carpenter’s Way Home For Boys, Arabella Home for Girls, and the NICU at Piedmont Columbus Regional.

They spend their own money to ride across the country, but the men say it is more than worth it.

“…but most of all, I enjoy raising awareness and money for the kids in our area,” said Sheriff Jolly.

The Miracle Riders have traveled to cities like Biloxi, Lake Charles, Dallas, San Antonio, Amarillo, Lubbock, Deming, Yuma, Cathedral City, Williams, and Santa Rosa.

The gang returns to a homecoming celebration in Uptown Columbus Friday, Oct. 5.
