New Temporary Cell Tower on US280E by Kevin Roble WRBL

After a tornado knocked over a cell tower on US 280 Eastbound, temporary towers are being raised by Southern Linc Wireless and AT&T, according to work crews on site.

Workers on site say each provider must clear the ground to build their temporary towers in that area. Other service providers are expected to bring their own equipment in coming days.

Dates to replace the full tower are still unknown but workers expect it to take up to six months depending on damage to the land and tower’s foundation.

This story will be updated as more details become available.
