Toney Glaze is a Columbus cartoonist who says he is all about sending positive messages through his animations.
Glaze is the creator of the new animation “Life of Bradley”. His series can be found on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Glaze says this is series has been a long time coming.
“I would always dream of one day having my own comic or cartoon series to highlight art from our community’s standpoint,” said Glaze.
He said he always hated violence and one day figured he could use his artistic abilities to do something about it.
“I figured if I can give our kids a great message in something they recognized and loved that it would influence them to do great things,” said Glaze.
He said his love for animation began when he was 3-years-old.
“My mother used to buy me comic books and I used to mimic the art I saw. My grandmother also contributed to my art by buying me newspaper’s and letting me get the comic section,” said Glaze.
This catapulted his decision to pursue art in high school and college. For Glaze, animating a series is his positive contribution to the world.
“My mom always taught me that one person can make a change, so I’m setting out to do it the best way I know how, with animation,” said Glaze.
