Tornado Relief Drive now underway in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL) - Thanks to the geneorsity of our community, the Tornado Relief Campaign has already raised thousands!

WRBL News 3, PMB Broadcasting and the American Red Cross are teaming up to present a day-long Tornado Relief Campaign today!

The event will feature two locations where donors can drop off cash or check donations to Red Cross volunteers which will go directly to supporting the victims of Sunday’s tornado outbreak in East Alabama and West Central Georgia.

 

In Columbus, the drive-thru drop-off location will be in the parking lot of Sam’s Club, located at 5448 A Whittlesey Blvd. Donations will be accepted between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. EST.

 

In Opelika, the event will take part at Kroger, located in the Tiger Town Shopping Center at 2460 Enterprise Dr. Donations will be accepted there between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. CST.

 

News 3 and PMB will broadcast live from both locations throughout the day, sharing the stories of the people impacted by the tornadoes as well as those of the first responders who continue to provide help and support to the victims and their families.
