UPDATE: Opelika Police release official sketch of kidnapping and robbery suspect

Opelika Police released an official sketch of the person responsible for last Wednesday’s kidnapping and robbery at Apex Integrity Chiropractic Clinic.


The Opelika Police Department is investigating a report of a first-degree kidnapping and a first-degree robbery at Apex Integrity Chiropractic Clinic on Wednesday. 

Police say the victim says the suspect came into the clinic with a gun and demanded money. When the suspect received the money, they forced the victim into her car and made her drive to an ATM in Auburn.

According to the police report, he forced her to take money from the ATM and then drive away. While stopped at a traffic light, she was able to run from the car and notify the police.

Police say the suspect was last seen at the intersection of East University Drive and Opelika Road. The victim was not injured.

The police say the suspect is described as a black male approximately 5’10” tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a zip-up hooded sweatshirt with red stripes.

He may have been driving a red sports car convertible with a black top.
