COLUMBUS, Ga — A local woman goes in front of a judge Tuesday for DUI charges after a train collided with her car Sunday night.
Police Sargent Art Sheldon tells WRBL 23-year-old Sha-kera Collins was arrested on the scene at 35th Street and River Road just before 8:30 p.m.
Sheldon says officers found Collins’ car, which had a beer logo on it, stuck on the tracks.
Collins was able to get out of the crash without injuries, although witnesses tell News 3 she complained of chest pains.
Sheldon says Collins was the only person in the car.
She will be in court at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
