Columbus High came into Monday’s AAAAA boys state championship with their sights set on a trophy. The Blue Devils finished 5th. Stanton Schorr led with way with a team low 71.
Cambridge won the state championship with a team score of 290. The low individual score was Lakeside’s Hunter Dunagan. He shot a 67.
Northside finished their round shooting a 311.
On the girl’s side, Ware County is the AAAAA state champions after a 232 score. Dalton County is the state runners up with a 242.
Northside’s 269 score was good enough to finish in 7th place. Columbus high shot a 281 putting them in 9th place. Harris County also placed shooting a 322.
