Man arrested after series of armed robberies in Opelika

Opelika police have made an arrest after an investigation into several armed robberies across Opelika.

31-year-old Jairus Davis was stopped by Opelika officers Wednesday, April 18 following an attempted robbery in Auburn.

According to police, Davis was arrested by the Opelika Police Department on the following four counts of Robbery 1st Degree:

  • 04/04/2018 Dollar General 3706 Pepperell Parkway
  • 04/06/2018 Murf Mart 1001 Frederick Avenue
  • 04/10/2018 Miscelania Guate Mex 1809 West End Court
  • 04/12/2018 JK Food Mart 2420 Lafayette Parkway
