Phenix City chiropractor and two employees face federal charges for allegedly falsifying medical records for truck drivers.

Investigators with the U.S. Attorney’s out of Montgomery confirm Phenix City chiropractor, 64-year-old Kenneth Edwards and two of his employees, 58-year-old Joanne Bush and 40-year old Andrea Daigle have been arrested on wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud charges.

Investigators say Edwards, who lives in Columbus, would allegedly hand out medical certificates to truck drivers, without actually performing the exams at his Phenix City chiropractors office. His two employees, Bush and Daigle who both live in Smiths Station, are also charged in the case.

The three face federal charges since truck drivers medical certificates fall under the Department of Transportation.
