BRIDGE & ROAD CLOSURES: Flash flooding prompts road closures

***Please remember this list may not be all-inclusive and there could be other roads with flooding conditions. Use caution and never drive into a flooded roadway.

Muscogee County:
  • Lynch Rd Near Fire Station 5 is still closed they do have Barricades out there.

  • River Rd and Old River Rd to Harris County is still closed by DOT until further notice.

  • County Line Rd also still closed             

  • All roads in Muscogee County previously closed per DOT due to Wednesday's weather are now open. 

Harris County:
  • SR 1 bridge over Standing Boy Creek near SR 315 should reopen Thursday night
  • Detours are being set up on Highway 315
  • Mt. Airy Road (Waverly Hall) -- Known to flood
  • Twin Lakes Rd in Waverly Hall  
Lee County: 
  • LR 249 Barricaded Bridge and section of the dirt road that is South of LR 330 and North of the paved portion of 249

  • LR 238 Barricaded

  • LR 246 Barricaded immediately East of LR 230

  • Bridge collapsed LR 318 @ Turkey Creek 1 mile north of LR 319
    ***Detour North of bridge LR 249 or South of bridge LR 298***

  • Bridge collapsed at 687

Russell County: 
  • Reports of water coming over the road at Cutrate and Old Opelika Road.
  • Earlier flooding of Bridgewater Drive near Lakewood Drive has cleared.
  • Flash Flooding is possible in the Phenix City area.
