Two Auburn men arrested on drug charges

Two men are now in jail on drug charges according to Auburn Police and Lee County law enforcement.

Auburn men Michael Smith and Robert Jordan were arrested Friday on drug charges stemming from a search of their residence in the 700 block of East Magnolia Avenue. According to officials, the search warrant was a result of an investigation of narcotic sales from the residence. 

Once Auburn authorities and the Lee County SWAT team discovered an undisclosed amount of cocaine and marijuana, as well as two firearms that were eventually confiscated, they arrested Smith, 38, and Jordan, 25. 

Smith is charged with a possession of a controlled substance as well as second degree marijuana possession. Jordan is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Both Smith and Jordan were taken to Lee County Detention Center. Smith is being held on a $4,000 bond, while Jordan’s bond is tabbed at $3,000.
