Tuskegee man charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, unoccupied vehicle

Auburn Police arrested a Tuskegee man Wednesday. 

Authorities say Keuntae R. Mabson, 24, was charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, discharging a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle, and fleeing and attempting to elude police.

Police say they received a call around 11 p.m. on Wednesday in reference to shots fired call at a residence in the 400 block of Mary Lane. Police say Mabson fired into a residence and a vehicle and fled the scene in a vehicle. An officer in the area says he saw the suspect vehicle and attempted a traffic stop.  The driver of the vehicle led the officer on a chase and eventually, Mabson pulled over and was taken into custody.  

No injuries were reported. The residence and vehicle sustained minor damage.
Mabson was transported to the Lee County Jail. He is being held on a $58,000 bond.
