South Carolina murder suspect on the run could be headed to Georgia

DUNCAN, SC (WSPA) – One man has died and another is in the hospital after a shooting on East Main Street in Duncan, Saturday.

Deputies are looking for Francisco Maldanado-Molina.

They believe he is headed back to Georgia in a champagne color 2008 Toyota Tundra truck.

The tag number is PXW 6954.

Deputies say warrants have been signed for Murder, Attempted Murder, Burglary First Degree, and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.

He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Sheriff Wright says there is no danger to the public and the shooting was an isolated incident.

The coroner says 48-year-old Edilberto Flores-Placios died at the scene.

Sheriff Wright says the shooting happened around 6:30pm when a man entered the house and shot two other people which he says resulted from a domestic incident that started in Anderson County.

One man was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries.

He is in stable condition.
