ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark might be more excited than anyone that football is back in full swing, at least based on his effort breaking down Monday’s Steelers-Browns Monday Night Football showdown.

Clark appeared on SportsCenter after the Steelers’ big win and stole the show with his performance using a telestrator to analyze Pittsburgh’s huge defensive performance.

He started by jogging across the set to get to the screen, then delivered an impassioned performance as he showed off how the Steelers scored two defensive touchdowns in the win. The combination of Clark’s energy and knowledge of the X’s and O’s made for the perfect segment.

Clark barely has a second to breathe in the more than two minutes of analysis, but that didn’t slow him down. He even dropped in some memorable lines, like saying Steelers linebacker Alex Highsmith beat Browns lineman Jedrick Wills “like he stole something.” Based on the social media reaction, it was exactly the type of breakdown fans have been yearning for.

Clark also brought the juice with his analysis of the Saints’ win over the Carolina Panthers. This is gold.
