No changes on the days as mentioned below yesterday, however, the timing may be more of a longer duration event. Active pattern continues for the first two weeks of December for the northern Gulf.
Saturday(WEATHER AWARE DAY):
We are looking at a morning and afternoon chance for severe weather, with the energy moving more south and east with a blend of the GFS and RPM. We must remain vigilant during these times. Again profiles support enough shear for a few storms increasing in height to more of a super cell variety. Damaging wind, hail, and isolated tornadoes.
Morning wrap around moisture, with a few left over showers and becoming mostly cloudy, with breaks of afternoon sunshine and yes break out the shorts, as we get up to 75°…
Monday(WEATHER AWARE DAY):
Now all day chances for severe weather, with damaging wind, hail, and possible tornadoes. Continued warm, with CAPE values high, meaning enough energy for these storms to remain present and strong, with this shearing environment.
Tuesday-Friday(BONUS DAYS-ENJOY!): Colder sunny and dry by mid-week…
Following weekend: Likely back to an unsettled pattern…Stay tuned.
