Subtropical Depression Alberto will eventually be downgraded to post remnants. Conditions are not favorable for tornadoes or severe storms but additional rainfall and wind are the primary hazards.
Clearly the additional rainfall will impact us when it comes to local flash flooding and the possibility for a few trees weakening from loosened soil and toppling over.
Rain will continue at times but eventually it’ll be less in coverage and isolated areas will see standing water.
Shearing environment was never present this close, only where the far outer bands, which brought trees down in Atlanta metro.
Flash flooding will be more of a widespread issue across central Alabama near and around the track.
