Enjoy these clouds and cooler than average readings, thanks to an area of low pressure and not too much energy to bring any severe weather around the region.
The forecast over the next 36 hours has a weak trough or a low pressure system stalled across the region. At the same time, portions of western Alabama has drier and more stable air trying to build across eastern portions of the state; and west central Georgia.
Later model data has indicated that the low pressure trough across the Deep South will move across portions of eastern Georgia by Thursday, which would allow us to introduce that drier air mass farther off towards the west.
At this time I’m going to keep the mention of mostly sunny mornings, with fair clouds and a few isolated pop-up showers and storms each afternoon, because there’s still some model disparity.
