This forecast will be dictated by two cold fronts. the first cold front will sweep through Saturday morning. The air mass behind this front will not contain cold canadian air, instead it’ll be situated more across the southern tier states.
Once this front passes throuigh it’ll lift back north as a warm front and this will keep us mild, humid, and a bit unsettled throughout the region. This front then becomes stationary and we need to watch any disturbances along this boundary or front that may trigger more showers and a few storms in the forecast.
Guess what, this same process will occur early next week, with a better chance of heavy rainfall and storms, which we’ll watch closely.
