More rain and clouds start the work week

7 Day Forecast

Rain coverage and clouds increase Monday and Tuesday. A weak low pressure system and surface trough will help bring more tropical moisture from the Gulf across the area….so the muggy and mild trend continues. Although most rainfall will be in the form of scattered showers, there will be some general thunderstorms with brief heavy rain and lightning.

Clouds retreat some Wednesday through Friday, but rain is still expected. Isolated (rather than scattered) showers and thunderstorms are expected Wednesday through Friday during the afternoon and evening when max temperatures reach the upper 80s.

A trough will then make its way into the area this coming weekend which means more clouds and more rain coverage so we’ll end the week on the same note it started.

Temperatures remain mild in the mornings in the upper 60s with afternoons in the 80s.
