Not as warm, with more clouds for Wednesday

More clouds will start to build across the southeast ahead of our next rain maker that will make it’s way to the region early Thursday morning.

Heavy rain and a few thunderstorms will be likely. Heavy rain will start in the early morning hours on Thursday which could make for a messy morning commute. Rain will be persistent through the afternoon with a few breaks Thursday evening.

Come Friday, we will still be under a blanket of clouds with light showers until this system gets some momentum to move out to the northeast.

For the weekend we dry back out with more sunny conditions.

A weak shortwave moves through the region Monday enhancing cloud cover but that’s all we will muster from it.

Christmas Day looks a tad above average but with a mix of sun and clouds.
