It’s all about a cool front slowly meandering across the region and stalling out. The outcome will be isolated afternoon storms, with a few producing brief torrential rain, strong gusts, and lightning.
Eventually this front will not have the same impact with developing short waves along the axis or front. High pressure over the mid-Atlantic will begin to take over Monday through most of next week.
Readings will remain near average when we tap more pleasant and drier air.
