We continue to be WEATHER AWARE for the a few thunderstorms that will redevelop Sunday afternoon and evening.
For tonight, a weakened line of showers will continue to move into our region and model consensus is trending more into the morning time hours for some light to moderate showers with a brief gust of wind. The main focus now, will be the redevelopment of thunderstorms along the front. Main areas for this will be areas of Columbus and to the southeast for Marion, Schley, Stewart, Webster and Sumter Counties.
Not a lot of cold air behind this front, which is good news for the severe weather threat. Temperatures will remain above average in the 70s through mid-week.
Our next threat of showers and thunderstorms come Thursday and lingering through the early morning hours on Saturday. We are WEATHER AWARE for this system as well.
Don’t forget to change your clocks tonight before you head to bed!
