Sun and freezing weather again for the entire two state region on our Thursday morning. After this we will continue with a pleasant but cooler than average forecast through Friday.
The temperatures will only warm a few degrees through Friday, then we’ll see an increase in cloud cover from a storm system from the Pacific southwest riding along the southern branch of the jet-stream.
SATURDAY COLD RAIN: This will lift considerable moisture into the region late Saturday night into early Sunday morning. We can expect light to moderate rain on either side.
Storms will be concentrated to the south and there’s a marginal risk for isolated wind damage across the Florida Panhandle and the Gul coast.
WINTER STORM THREAT: Another cold Canadian cold front will interact with this storm, which needs to be watched and advertised more on the RPM model for snow from Atlanta northwest a bit more bullish than the GFS, surprisingly now since the GFS hasn’t caught-up on the latest run. Stay tuned.
