FIRST ALERT OUTLOOK: The forecast looks great for sunshine working back into this forecast the next couple of days. The weekend front will be slow to spoil any Saturday morning plans.
In fact, this slow moving font will keep an upper level trough (low pressure system) across the northern Gulf and most of the Florida panhandle and southern Alabama and Georgia quite wet.
We will be more of a smattering of a shower here and there. Late Saturday and into the day on Sunday will be our best chances of more organized but scattered showers throughout the News 3 viewing area.
We will remain mild through Sunday and then back to more average readings early next week. The beauty of all this, we are not talking about any arctic air anytime soon…But it’ll be back before winter is over, stay tuned.
*FUN FACT: Since December 15th we’ve had 22 days with overnight low readings at or below 32°F.
