Tracking a fast moving front, with brief heavy rainfall and gusty winds, especially south and east of Columbus. These will be your general type storms; not seeing low level shear or strong upper air support for severe storms.
Mid-week: A much cooler and breezy forecast, with readings feeling quite chilly. When the winds subside by Thursday morning, we will likely see areas of patchy frost.
Weekend: We are tracking another system and it is tracking farther south, with plenty of energy and cold air behind this. Clearly a week ahead and we need more time to analyze this storm’s timing. I’m taking the middle of the road and going Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning before it exits out of the region.
