Parameters are less than severe still for today and now that the first wave of heavy rainfall timed out during the morning rush hour, we will see it taper off for the rest of this morning and early afternoon.
Looking at the latest satellite imagery, you can see the front draped west of Mississippi and through Louisiana.
Expect this front to make it through late this evening around the 11pm show through the overnight. This will bring isolated heavy rain, with a few storms south and east of Columbus.
Friday afternoon through Saturday looking alright as long as the cold front remains south.
Late Saturday into the entire day Sunday through the overnight early Monday morning a heavy rain event sets up.
