Weak Shortwaves: The air mass is too stable and dry for any rain. We will be tracking a few more through the end of the week. Don’t expect a lot, just a passing shower or storm, not a washout. This will be the case for Thursday through Friday.
Very stray showers and a few storms. Monday again another weak shortwave develops across a strong surface ridge of high pressure.
For the remainder of next week a strong 594 mb high anchors across the entire region, with us as the bulls eye. Rain chances will really back off at this time. Expect the heat to increase. The model data doesn’t do a good job picking up on this at this time. So I may be downplaying the highs in the lower 90s.
