Weather Pattern: Back to more summer-like, with isolated storms

7 Day Forecast

The strong ridge of high pressure that brought severe storms on the western side (circulation as two MCS’s) of high pressure, will now circulate farther west and we’ll begin to see more isolated storms only Friday.

The pattern will make a shift to more of a sub-tropical one. The MCS that brought severe storms on Thursday afternoon, will stall across southeast Georgia and lift as a weak area of low pressure. This will circulate more humid air across the region, with mainly overcast skies and scattered showers and a few storms across the region for the weekend.
