Very stray showers and a few storms on Friday. Monday again another weak shortwave develops across a strong surface ridge of high pressure.
For the remainder of next week a strong 594 mb high anchors across the entire region, with us as the bulls eye. Rain chances will really back off at this time. Expect the heat to increase. The model data doesn’t do a good job picking up on this at this time.
The forecast now appears to be much hotter as this high remains strong across the southeast, with mid-90s to triple digits near the coast by the middle to later part of next week.
