You will start to notice some clearing throughout the overnight, with some early clouds Saturday morning. But by the afternoon, we are expecting to fully clear with a mostly sunny afternoon.
The second half of the weekend there are some changes. Those changes are more cloud cover with a shortwave of energy moving through the southeast. This piece of energy will be able to generate some light showers across the area Sunday afternoon into the evening. Some of this moisture will be possible early Monday morning in the form of some light drizzle before it starts to clear out.
With that said, mostly cloudy conditions will be persistent through Christmas Day and a good portion of the week.
Late week, we are tracking another storm system with this go round possibly having a few severe thunderstorms. At the moment, we will continue to closely watch this system to see if conditions warrant going Weather Aware.
